|
This is the name or IP address of the font
server.

|
This is the port where the
font server can be contacted, usually 7100.

video modes
|
The video modes (resolutions) supported by
your hardware. The selected modes must be supported by both your monitor
and video card.

the default (800x600) should work on any moderate hardware.

color depth
|
The color depth supported by
your hardware. The selected color depth must be supported by the amount
of video ram in your card.

the default (24) should work on any moderate hardware.

session type |
This is the session you
are configuring.
There are some possible options:

the session type that matches the server you're trying to contact.

background
color |
The graphical screen background color.
Quick start hint: leave
this unchanged.

Select splash screen, kernel and initial ram disk in the correspondings
"file selections".
If the filesystem is being created for the first time or if you want to
re-create an existing one, you should check the "initialize" button.
For a previously existent filesystem you could check the "Read saved configuration"
to read the saved configuration files and fill the values of the corresponding
parameters.
