Configuring xfs font server

Basic configuration

You need to comment this line in the file /etc/X11/fs/config

    #no-listen = tcp
	 		

xfs uses port 7100 by default. But you can additionally add

    port 7100
	 		

to /etc/X11/fs/config.

Some distributions, like Mandrake 9.0/9.1 define "port -1" in /etc/init.d/xfs in that case you have to change the "-port -1" entries in xfs to "-port 7100"

(xfs can be in a other path, depending on which location is used for init-scripts by your distro)
