Configuring XDM connection method This the connection method used to contact your XDMCP server. There are three possible methods: direct indirect broadcast Quick start hint: if you can reach the server by broadcast, leave the default. Otherwise use direct or indirect. xdm server This is the name or IP address of the font server. Quick start hint: if you haven't selected broadcast enter your server IP address or name. xdm port This port where the server is listening. Quick start hint: If you haven't re-confugured de server, use the default.

Select the connection method to the XDMCP server. You can check your X server configuration to see the details in configuring the XDMCP protocol.
